4 Excellent Themes for Your Next Major Business Event

It is true that the idea of “business” – and the work that goes along with it – might not induce anticipation of fun entertainment, but it does not have to be that way. Since before the turn of the millennium, I have been creating fun and memorable events for businesses under the Raymond Ramsay and Associates banner, and I enjoy every moment of it. Here are four great themes for business events that everyone is sure to remember.

  1. “Camping” Retreat

For nature lovers, a “camping” retreat is the perfect getaway. One of the oldest creative event themes remains one of the best because nature provides a serenity that helps keep the focus on what is important – business and building solid professional relationships, of course. The logistics shouldn’t be too difficult to execute, either, since all you truly need is an outdoor area where you can set up several tables, cook good camping style food, and set up a bonfire place or two. The payoff will be your team feeling energized, grateful, and ready to return to the hustle and bustle by the end of it all.

  1. Mini Golf

Who doesn’t love a good cliché? Miniature golf is inexpensive, always yields funny stories, and keeps focus on the business aspect of things. After the fun at some point, perhaps over drinks, you can announce next year’s business calendar highlights or discuss current budget concerns. Whatever the case might be, you will have the attention of your team. There is a reason that, when it comes to themes for business events, this one reigns supreme.

  1. Futuristic Themes

Over the years I have done a few futuristic themes for my clients, some more massive in scale than others but all successes. Why would I do this? Because everyone loves the aesthetic and, of course, it is a metaphor for business – the future of business, that is. If your budget permits it, this one of the creative event themes you’ll want to consider. The right company will provide an experience that your team members will be talking about for some time to come.

  1. Sports Game

Taking your team to a local sports event is fun and straightforward. Eat away at a few ballpark hot dogs while enjoying one another’s company. Your team will thank you for the excellent time and will also get to know you a little bit better. This idea is one of the creative business events that don’t require much more than purchasing some tickets and showing up for your team.

My years creating events for major corporations have shown me that simplicity sells. Don’t overthink it, just create an event that your team will thank you for and remember fondly.
